minister met with the secretary of state hillary clinton. he thanked her for the u.s. funding of the system. when it comes to a cease-fire, as of now, it remains illusive and only talk. it's become a familiar sound. air raid sirens in jerusalem. iranian rocket fired by militant in gaza landed on the outskirt of the holy city. ironically, the rocket fell near a palestinian village. tonight, rocket launched from gaza landed 45 miles away in suburban tel aviv. the farthest ever to fall in an israeli city. militants on tuesday fired more than 100 rockets. the israeli military suffered the first fatality when a seasonal was hit by a mortar this afternoon. raising the israeli death toll to five. one of the rockets that pep traited the iron dome defense system hit a store in the city of ashdod and sheered off the side of the building, decimating the structure. there were no serious injuries. >> it's like rain. like it rains in new york state, just rain water, here it rains rockets. every day, every hour. rains tens of thousands of rockets in the city. it's unbelievable. >> another rocket pierced t

that led to petraeus' stunning downfall. brian todd's been working the story for us and getting new information. brian, tell our viewers what's the latest? >> we found out that the house majority leader, republican congressman eric cantor, may have found out almost two weeks before the president did. this and other time lines we're following on the investigation have led to genuine anger over why the ite house and other top congressional leaders weren't told sooner. a time line cnn has put together shows the republican house majority leader may have known about former cia director david petraeus' extramarital affair before the president did. that's according to aides to congressman eric cantor who tell us he found out from an fbi employee concerned that national security might have been breached as a result of the affair. cantor was told on october 27th. president obama didn't find out about the affair until after election day. congressional leaders from both parties are upset that neither they nor the president were informed until late last week. >> obviously this was a matter invo

for travelers out there? here with the travel forecast to answer that for us is dylan. >> most areas will cooperate. you're just dealing with the traffic as opposed to snow and ice on top of the traffic. the areas where we are seeing the snow have seen snow for the last couple of days. it's around the great lakes. the country is split in half. dealing with cold temperatures, highs today topping out in the 30s and 40s. 45 degrees in chicago and then the southern half warmer in the 60s and 70s. the showers we're seeing back into new york state and pennsylvania is lake-effect in nature. the streams are coming off lake ontario and lake erie. they have already picked up more than four or five inches already since the last couple of days. but we are going to see that be an issue across 90 through new york state and we also have some of those snow showers falling back through wyoming and back into the dakotas right now. along the east coast, the i-95 corridor gets backed up this time of year. we're going to see nothing but partly cloudy skies. solar glare will not be too much of an issue. >
